Dialogue with urban activists about listening and trust in public spaces.
Details & Register βVandan is a living platform for connecting the bonds of a community; a space between speaking, listening, and hearing the other, where voices become harmonious instead of dominant.
In a world filled with noise and haste, we are creating a space where listening surpasses mere hearing, and dialogue becomes a bridge for understanding.
In dialogue, we don't just add individual thoughts together; we discover collective wisdom and meanings that exist in the space between us.
Dialogue is a tool to break down the walls we've built between 'us' and 'them.' It reminds us that despite our differences, we're all human.
Through dialogue, we don't repeat old patterns; we create new narratives and discover possibilities that were previously hidden.
Vandan is derived from words like citizens (shahrvandan), relatives (khishavandan), and natives (bum-vandan)βa suffix born from connection and coexistence. We chose this name because we believe development only gains meaning when people, with all their differences, come together.
Vandan is a new narrative of dialogue; a living platform for connecting the bonds of a community, a space between speaking, listening, and hearing the other. A place where voices become harmonious instead of dominant. In Vandan, dialogue is not just a word, but a human actionβa path to rebuilding trust, empathy, and mutual understanding.
We believe dialogue is the starting point of development. And at Vandan, we strive to practice and create the flow of dialogue between cities and provinces, between generations, between people and institutions, between us and the world.
